I wish there was a simple test for dogs like there is for humans but unfortunately the test for dogs requires taking blood. I have no problem doing that but you can not buy a Relaxin test kit to do one dog, it comes in sets of 5, so it is off to the vet for Sadie. This is just for verification anyway because I can tell from the way she looks and acts that she is pregnant. As always she was very good and since her pain tolerance is very high she did not even blink when the vet took the blood.
I dropped off some fliers since they told me they were out again, I get more training referals from this vet than any-other so consequently I give him more of my business than the others. I have a different vet for each of my 5 dogs.I take Sadie to him because being a breeding female she need more care than the others.
I returned home and went back to preparing for Homecoming and was in the middle of loading up the car when I got the call. The nurse told me that I was going to be a Grandpa. I guess that makes me PawPawMike yet again.
